U.S cracking down on Ebola sccreening

The United States government has began to screen every passenger that comes from "infected" countries. Although that number is only around 150 people, it still is a precaution to help keep it from spreading to the U.S anymore than the one case that has been confirmed on U.S soil. I think that this is a good idea, but they should be also cautious of other countries that it may have spread to, which could be any so that may be a little difficult.

  1. I'm glad that the U.S. is now taking more precautions to prevent Ebola from spreading in our country. Screening for the disease is a great way to stop Ebola from spreading, but I think that the United States should still continue to help Ebola infected countries in any way it can.

    1. How far do you think we should go to help these countries? should we go so far as to deploy our own troops to help in those countries and put them at risk to become infected? Or should it be volunteer basis as it has been?

  2. How is the US "cracking down" on this? What role does the US Congress have in this ?

  3. "Cracking down" is not nearly enough. This is a very serious disease and we need to treat it as such. We should halt all flights to and from the infected countries, similar to what the rest of the world has done. Because with a 21-day incubation period and an 83% fatality rate, we cannot take the risk.

  4. I still don't think that the United States is doing enough. We need to close our boarders to Africa and more carefully monitor those coming in from other countries. Ebola terrifies me, so I do not want to contract it.
