Vatican checking itself

The Vatican put a Dominican Republic envoy, Wesolowski, under house arrest after being accused of sexually abusing young boys in the Caribbean region. His punishment was one of the harshest the Catholic Church can give: laicization, returning to a life of a layman. He know is in the small police barracks jail of the Vatican.  Associated Press. This is said to hear about because the Church has tried extremely hard to get rid of this in its midst. This could affect how people look at the Church after hearing about it from someone in a high position. I think that he is getting off a little easy, I think that he should be criminally charged for what he did.

C-Span bus rolls into town, but journalist's twist student's response

This first blog is in response to the Rapid City Journal article on the STM students response to the C-Span coming into town. I believe that the journalist took to many things and twisted it or jokes a little to seriously. As a member of the AP Government class, it isn't a representation of any of the fifteen we have in the class. If anything the article would have been a entire paper and then some if they would listen to some of our classes where we either interpret and discuss parts of the government or argue about political views. Two years ago we had a very large discussion in the school about the election on things like the platforms the candidates had. Most of are now at or near voting age, regardless we will all be able to vote this next Presidential election and I believe all of us will. I would just like to let anyone who reads this to know if you believe this article to be true, you are more than welcome to come during C period AP Gov. to discuss with us about the government we have no interest in.
